The Data Minimization Principle
The GDPR attempts to minimize the storing and processing of sensitive data. The easiest way to remain GDPR compliant is to keep as little information as possible and only for the shortest time possible.
Expiration Rules
eStealth allows you to configure automatic expiration of data for given purposes. This allows you to automatically remove data that was collected for a single expressed purpose.
Retention Rules
Sometimes data must be kept around due to legal requirements. The typical example is accounting data. For these cases, eStealth also offers a retention feature. By configuring retentions in the profile, eStealth will keep certain attributes around while removing others.
